Data Deletion Instructions
Effective date: October 20, 2026
Who this is for
This page is for people who have chatted with a business through a chatbot that Unpromptable Assets built or runs, for example on Facebook Messenger. It explains how to ask us to delete your conversation data.
What we delete
We delete the conversation data we hold for that business's chatbot: your messages, the chatbot's replies, the order or request details you shared, and the chat status we keep for you, such as your platform ID and timestamps. This includes copies in our system logs.
We may keep a short note that we received and completed your request, so we can show the request was handled.
How to ask
Option 1: Send a message in the same chat with the business, such as "Please delete my data." The business's team will pass your request to us.
Option 2: Email james@unpromptable.dev with the subject "Data deletion request". Include the name of the business you messaged, the name shown on your messaging account, and about when you last messaged them. We use these details only to find your conversation.
What happens next
We will confirm that we received your request. We will delete your data within 30 days, tell the business you messaged, and tell you when it is done.
Even if you do not ask, we delete chatbot conversation records within 90 days after your last message, unless they are still needed for an open order, a dispute, or a legal obligation.
If the law requires us to keep some information, we will tell you what we kept and why.
Copies we do not control
The business you messaged may keep its own copy of the conversation in its messaging inbox, and the messaging platform keeps its own records. To delete those, contact the business directly, or use the delete options in your messaging app.
